Privacy Policy

Effective July 3, 2026 · Issued by Etik Wealth Enterprise LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (State of Georgia, USA)

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Etik Wealth Enterprise LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("OURS", "we", "us") collects when you use the Platform, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

You provide: name, email, phone, profile photo, Instagram handle, home city and country, mailing address (if you opt in), preferred cities, referral source, and any messages you send us.

Generated by use: RSVPs, waitlist entries, ticket purchases and receipts, cancellations, attendance history, early-access invitations, and communications with our team.

Technical: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, session identifiers, cookies and similar technologies, and diagnostic logs used to keep the Platform secure and reliable.

Payment: when you buy a ticket, our processor (Stripe) collects your payment credentials directly. We receive limited transaction metadata (amount, currency, last-4, status) — not your full card number.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Platform;
  • curate fêtes, manage RSVPs, waitlists, priority, and attendance;
  • process payments, refunds, and chargebacks;
  • communicate with you about your account, fêtes you've engaged with, invitations, and, where you've opted in, marketing;
  • verify identity, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms;
  • comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests.

Subject to applicable law, you grant OURS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, and use the information you submit to operate the Platform, run fêtes, and improve our services — including the right to derive aggregated, de-identified insights from your activity.

3. How we share your information

We share information only:

  • With vetted service providers who help us run the Platform — hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, address lookup, analytics, error monitoring, and customer support. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • With hosts and venues of the fêtes you RSVP to, limited to what they need to receive you (typically name, headcount, and dietary or accessibility notes you provide).
  • For legal reasons — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or applicable law; to protect the safety of our guests, staff, or the public; or to enforce our Terms.
  • In a business transaction — if OURS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Platform, and limited analytics to understand aggregate use of the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies will affect core functionality (for example, staying signed in).

5. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we anonymize your profile (removing your name, email, phone, and photo) but retain a limited historical record of your fêtes and payments where required for tax, accounting, refund, chargeback, and audit obligations, typically for up to seven (7) years. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction (including the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information (you can update most fields directly from your Account page);
  • request deletion of your account (see "Data retention" above);
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time (unsubscribe links appear in every marketing email);
  • request a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, use Account → Legal & Privacy → Submit a request, or write to etik@discoverours.com. We respond within thirty (30) days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service accounts — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that materially affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

8. International transfers

OURS is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Contact

Data-protection questions and requests should be sent to etik@discoverours.com, or submitted from Account → Legal & Privacy. Postal address available on request.
